The Electromaax Alternator/Regulator Extended Warranty

The following describes the coverage of both the included (1) year manufactures warranty and the optional extended warranties exclusively for our Electromaax Alternators. This warranty cannot be applied to any other products sold by Electromaax or its partners.

  1. (1) year Manufacturer’s Warranty – Included with purchase
  2. (2) Year Extended Warranty (3) year total coverage – Must be purchased before the (1) year Manufacturer’s Warranty expires. $199 USD for a full 3 years of coverage.
  3. (4) Year Extended Warranty (5) year total coverage – Must be purchased before the (1) year Manufacturer’s Warranty expires. $299 USD for a full 5 years of coverage.

Electromaax warrants to the original consumer/purchaser the product is free from any defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If any such defect is discovered within the warranty period, Electromaax will replace the defective part free of charge, subject to verification of the defect or malfunction upon delivery or shipping prepaid to Electromaax.

This warranty DOES NOT apply to defects or physical damage resulting from abuse, neglect, accident, improper repair, alteration, modification, or unreasonable use of the products resulting in breakdown, cracked or broken housings nor are parts damaged by fire, water, freezing, collision, theft, explosion, rust, corrosion or items damaged in shipment enroute to Electromaax for repair. Electromaax assumes no responsibility for consequential damage or loss or expense arising from these products or any labor required for service or repair.

Electromaax WILL NOT repair or be held responsible for any product sent without proper identification, return address and Return Authorization (RA) number clearly marked on the package. You must include proof of date and place of purchase (photocopy of purchase invoice) or we cannot be responsible for repairs or replacement. In order to expedite warranty claims more efficiently, Electromaax asks that prior to returning a defective product for repair, you call Electromaax‘s Customer Service department for a warranty return authorization number.

Material required for the repair or replacement for the defective part or product is to be supplied free of charge upon delivery of the defective product to Electromaax, 5552 King Street, Beamsville, Ontario, Canada, L0R 1B3. Customer is responsible for all return transportation charges and any air or rush delivery expense. Electromaax reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace defective components. Returned warranty or non-warranty items deemed non-repairable will be disposed of after 30 days, unless claimed by owner. Electromaax is not liable for damage to or loss of returned items.

** A 20% Restocking Fee Applies To All Product Returned Through No Fault of the Company or Product with a 30 Day return policy.


Electromaax’s Warranty is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.  The Electromaax Warranty provides the purchaser specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state, or Province to Province.   Eletromaax’s Warranty does not affect any additional rights consumers have under laws in their jurisdictions governing the sale of consumer goods, including, without limitation, national laws implementing EC Directive 44/99/EC.  Some states, provinces and or Countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations or exclusions of Electromaax’s Warranty may not apply in certain jurisdictions.

Product Returns

If you are not satisfied with any of our products, you may return them with your receipt and a completed Return Form for a full refund of the purchase price (minus shipping and handling charges).

Terms and Conditions for Returned Merchandise

30 days: All returns must be postmarked no later than 30 calendar days after the order is placed.

Proper Documentation, Your receipt, and a completed Return Form with the Return Authorization Number must accompany your returned item(s) in order for ElectroMaax to process your refund.

Good Condition: All returned items must be in their original state and deemed to be in unused condition before they can be accepted for a refund.

Non-returnable Items: ElectroMaax does not offer a return for discounted items or gift certificate, gift card purchases and custom orders.

Restocking Fee: Non Faulty items returned for refund will be subject to a 20% restocking fee and any applicable freight charges if shipping was included with the order. Custom orders once verified and paid for if cancelled before shipping are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.

Please fill out the Return Form enclosed in your ElectroMaax package and mail the completed form, original invoice and the item(s) you wish to return to the address on the form. Please note that you are responsible for all shipping and handling costs when effecting a return. If you wish to exchange your purchase item, please follow the above return procedures and place a new order for the correct product.

Once we determine that the returned merchandise complies with our Terms & Conditions Policy, we will promptly refund you the cost of the merchandise plus any applicable taxes. Your refund will be credited only to the credit card you used to make the purchase. We’ll provide you with a refund confirmation by email if an address was provided on the Refund Form.
